Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Carshalton Air Conditioning is a local trading website operated by WDI Group (Surrey) Ltd. We want anyone looking for air conditioning in Carshalton, Sutton or Wallington to be able to use this website, whatever device they are on and whatever assistive technology they use.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than an afterthought, and we review it whenever we add new pages.

What we have done

• Mobile-first layouts that work down to small screens and reflow when text is enlarged up to 200%.
• Text and background colours chosen to meet AA contrast levels, with information never conveyed by colour alone.
• A 'skip to main content' link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Full keyboard operation of menus, the cookie banner, accordions and the survey form, with visible focus outlines.
• Descriptive alternative text on photographs of our installations, and decorative icons hidden from screen readers.
• Proper heading structure with one main heading per page, and landmarks for navigation, main content and footer.
• Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages announced to screen readers, and tap targets sized for thumbs.
• Videos of our work play silently and on loop as illustration only; no information is carried by audio alone.
• Phone, WhatsApp and email routes offered on every page so nobody has to complete a form to reach us.

Known limitations

• The photo upload step of the survey form relies on your device's file picker, which we do not control. If it is difficult to use, email your photos to us instead.
• A small number of installation photographs were taken on site in poor light and their detail may be hard to make out. The surrounding text always explains what the photograph shows.
• Videos are supplied without captions because they contain no speech or spoken information.
• Some third-party destinations we link to, such as WhatsApp and Instagram, are outside our control and may not meet the same standards.

We welcome feedback. If you find something that is hard to use, email info@wdigroupltd.co.uk with the page address and a short description of the problem, or call 020 3727 2578. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix genuine accessibility problems as quickly as we can.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which advises on rights under the Equality Act 2010.

This website relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Pages are rendered on the server so core content is available quickly, and content remains readable when styles are overridden by your own settings.

This statement was prepared and last reviewed on 17 August 2026 following our own testing with keyboard navigation, browser zoom and automated accessibility checks. It is reviewed whenever significant new content is published.
